Ruth Koech
Ruth Jepkorir Koech (Binded Mind), disabled-student Poet was born and brought up in Cherangany, Kenya. She is currently pursuing Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature at Kisii University, Kenya. She is an enthuasiast Poet, Actor, Literature enthusiast and lover of art. Her poetry collection, Bile On My Smile was first published in 2022. She has contributed to a dozens of anthologies of poems; My Africa Spirit, East Africa Poetry Exchange, Kistrech Magazine (2022,2023), Konch Online Magazine and EVERYDAY ECHOES: AFRICAN SCHOLARS AND RACONTEURS.
The Artflame Theatre Network's Green Theatre Festival, inspired by the United Nations COP meeting on climate change launched in 2015, addresses the "crisis of imagination" surrounding climate change.
According to Director Brian Mwanzo, plans are in top gear for another show on October 12, 2024, at the Eugenia Amphitheatre, with a September performance at the University of Nairobi's Main Campus.
