Prof. Teresa Mwoma
Prof. Teresa Bitengo Mwoma is the Executive Director of the African Council for Distance Education, where she champions innovative, equitable, and inclusive approaches to higher education across the continent. She serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Early Childhood and Special Needs Education at Kenyatta University, bringing extensive expertise in inclusive pedagogy, educational policy, and digital learning. Prof. Mwoma is widely recognized for her leadership in advancing access to quality education for diverse learners, including children and adults with disabilities, and for her advocacy on ethical and responsible adoption of emerging technologies in education.
