The International Women’s Day Conference (IWDC) stands in the gap, making a transformative journey that goes beyond borders, empowering women worldwide.

Set against the backdrop of International Women’s Day 2024, the IWDC Round 4 is poised to be a huge virtual event, uniting global leaders, institutions, and women’s leadership from over 100 countries globally.

Under the theme Save Women’s Future, this five-day marathon, to be held from March 4th to March 8th, is hosted by the partnership of the Global Women Development Network (GWDN-USA) and the Community Development Foundation (Pakistan).

Together, with the support of the American International Education Federation and the Informal Economy Development Forum, they invite participants to embark on a journey that explores new horizons in women’s empowerment.

Over the past three years, the IWDC has evolved from a local initiative to a global phenomenon, leaving a huge mark on the women’s empowerment space.

Now, in its fourth round, the conference is set to build on the success of previous editions, focusing on over 13 sectors and five sub-themes. The ambitious goal is to influence more than 500,000 participants, including women, children, and youth, in a dialogue that spans continents.

This collaboration explores the multifaceted aspects that make IWDC-24 an important event.

  1. Well done. I started the journey of women empowerment in 1980 when i was a third year student at University. A lot has been achieved where many girls and women have been empowered. But biggest danger is the un empowered men. Cannot cope with empowered women. Men need to be empowered to co exist with empowered women.
